Gary was born and raised in Montreal Quebec where he still has family. In Sept 1968 he joined the Royal Montreal Regiment, an infantry unit, and was discharged as a Corporal. later in 1975 while employed by the Canadian National Railway. Gary & Linda have been married since 1972. They have 4 children and 8 precious grandchildren which all enjoy the love the outdoors and love camping, hiking, kayaking and canoeing as well. His love of music, guitar more specifically, brought him to establish the 8:45 Choir at Saint Vincent's Parish where he and his good friend Rick MacGuililvary played for many years. Together they have written many songs and recorded 2 C.D.’s compiled of all original music by Dugmaheas which have been broadcasted on the local radio station.
